Flexible handling system and lots of digital modules at the Hermle booth at METAV 2020

Hermle AG will present the complete range of its digital components in a separate stand area. These include numerous software tools that are divided into three main categories: "Digital Production", "Digital Operation" and "Digital Service".  These form the solid foundation for intelligent order management, transparent production processes, smart machine tuning, paperless production and sophisticated technology cycles - all building blocks for the path to the Smart Factory and Industry 4.0.  Ease of use and better use of the touch screen are guaranteed by Hermle with its customizable home screen and the new Navigator interface.

Overview of digital modules:

  • Increasing machine productivity and increasing process reliability with the controller functions AFC, ACC, CTC, AVD, LAC
  • Application-oriented optimization of surface, dynamics or precision with the Hermle use setups
  • The intelligent order management with the Hermle Automation-Control-System (HACS) and HACS-Connect, Hermle's own interface for integration in ERP or PPS systems
  • The central information and monitoring tool Hermle Information-Monitoring-Software (HIMS)
  • The convenient tool management HTMC & HOTS for Hermle machining centers  All information of your office PC at any time directly on the machine with the remote desktop function
  • The maintenance diagnosis system (WDS), in order to avoid downtimes in a targeted manner, combined with remote maintenance and predictive maintenance
