MULTUS U4000 Spur Gear Skiving and In-Process Measurement

Watch the machining of a spur gear on Okuma's Multitasking Machine MULTUS U4000. Besides highly precise gear skiving, this demonstration shows in-process measuring with NC Gage, which allows three-dimensional gauging done at any B-axis angle. Measure geometries, evaluate tolerances and change positions while on the machine. Gauging results are stored electronically and programming can be done easily with intuitive teaching.
