The sensoric toolholder spike is a wireless force transducer for the resulting axial loads as well as turning and bending moments during machining processes. The spike transmits forces and moments which are measured directly at the tool holder during the machining processes (for example milling, turning and drilling). The data are sent to the receiving station by radio and visualized. The life of the tools can also be increased by means of the data obtained in the context of the chip force measurement. The monitoring and monitoring of processes is quick and easy with the spike.
