    WinXiso-Xilog

    Hi All,

I I am trying to generate code for an SCM Routech with Aspire. I have a post processor and it generates the .pgm file I need. The issue is I don't have access to the CNC at the moment and I wan't to verify that the post is correct and I cannot read the code in the .pgm file as it is not a standard text file.

Would anyone be able to convert the pgm file to a .xxl file for me using WinXiso? Or possibly share WinXiso with me? Then I can read the file and verify that the code matches the sample files that I have been given.

    Thanks in advance.

Are you sure you have that correct?
On our Morbidelli, the .pgm is a binary file. I wrote an Aspire post to create the .xxl file, and used WinXIso to create the .pgm file.

Yes.. My post generates a .pgm file l just can't read it at home. I know what the
Xxl file should look like so I want to use winxiso to convert from .pgm to .xxl. Which it can do. Then l can verify the output of my post.

Would you be able to convert a .pgm file for me?

    Regards

    Here you go.

If you can covert it to an .xxl that would be great.

Also if you are able to share Winxiso that would be good.

    Thanks

Either you're not doing it right, or your machine is different than ours.
With our machine, .pgm files are binary. We output .xxl files from our CAM and convert to .pgm with WinXIso.

As such, your file doesn't work, as WinXIso expects .pgm files to be binary.

Renaming your file to .xxl, and running it through WinXIso results in a binary .pgm file, which I've attached.

Thank you. I will look at the file you sent.

So it sounds like my post processor is changing the extension to a .pgm but not converting it to binary.

    Thanks for your help.

Is there anyway you could send me the winxiso .exe? This way I can debug this post before l get access to the controller.

    Thanks again

For the Information, I am able to use XConvertor(Maestro), WinXISO (Xilog) and CNVRT for older machines.
