...so, the Yaskawa worked with Param A1-02 set at 3 (Closed Loop) without the Encoder. That doesn't make sense. The drive should have faulted out #10

...well, I see a 1010-4 Card on ebay with ELE-0025 Chipset that are in horrible condition. (I've seen better n worse $500 chips...lol ) But, at the price the seller Offer to me ($100) because I put it on my watch List for the photos might be worth it..If the seller has guaranteed to work.

Nexgen (406) 600-0624 is one of original Fadal Engineers that build Fadal's and the last time I called them (few years back) they answer all my question how to get a 4th axis setup...No Charge. We talked for 45 mins. So, I would call them after the Holiday and chat with them if, all else fails.

Here are the images for what I see on the SETP pages. - the spindle options dont show anything for rigid tap although there are other settings that mention it. - Gain and Ramp.

I have a 1400-4 card that is compatible with my 1010-4 spindle control card as per the chart.

The 1400-4 card has a V94.10-3 2494 chipset version on the 1610-1 memory card.

The 1010-4 card has V92.1X eeproms installed on it.

Did you get the rigid tapping figured out? If so what was the issue?
