When you go to auto mode, type O0001 or what ever the program number is and press the down arrow to call that program up

I was looking at a nice condition Hitachi Seiki HT20J with Seicos J Multi.
Not sure what control its based on but does your team still have parts/support for this
"classic" ?

Yes, so the J series are based on Yasnac J300 - parts and knowledge are readily available; they are robust and I rarely have to work on them as the parts are more reliable and last longer than some other controls.
