Company Bau special machiney has appr. 50 employees and is located in Marburg-Michelbach. Bau delivers special machinery for dust free rooms and sterile applications. Bau uses Bridgeport machines with Heidenhain control. They started with CAM System Gibbs – and changed now to Sprutcam and Solid Edge. An important point was the solution from CAD to CAM.
Another important topic was the optimum drive of the Heidenhain control at the Bridgeport machine. Very good results could be achieved after installation of the postprocessor. And machining parts, which have been impossible before could now be programmed easily. Company Bau is satisfied with Datentechnik Reitz service over many years. Datentechnik Reitz takes care of service for Solid Edge, as well as Sprutcam.
Postprocessor has been developed and adjusted by Datentechnik Reitz. Datentechnik Reitz takes over after-sales service as well. Software is currently used at two workplaces. One uses CAD licences – and the other uses CAM licences.
