The title says it all.

We had a forum here for a week or so and now it's gone - why is that?

Beats me, I was enjoying it since I have been using Viacad for years.

I really enjoyed it because there seemed to be a better free flow than on the VC forums. That and faster responses from those people involved. You can't access the VC forums until you have already purchased VC, so that alone is a good arguement for a forum that is not controlled and moderated by the manufacturer.
