TDM Systems at Salon Industrie Lyon 2013

TDM Systems at Salon Industrie Lyon 2013 from April 16 to 19 at Stand 6-W73

An Easy Start: TDM ensures greater productivity with efficient tool planning and administration

Tübingen/Lyon, in April 2013 – TDM Systems will present the latest version of its tool data management software TDM at the Industrie Lyon 2013 trade show.
The focus of the exhibit will be the "Easy Start with TDM" package and powerful interfaces to CAD/CAM systems for production simulation.
To ensure a successful start with the TDM tool data management software, the Tübingen-based company offers a comprehensive solution package
for an easy project Start with TDM.

"The success of a TDM customer project relies heavily on the availability of data and graphics for the tools used," explains Patrick Bliki, Regional Account Manager at TDM. "To ensure an easy start with TDM, well - known tool manufacturers from our group of companies provide extensive tool data and graphics used to create detailed solutions as part of the "Easy Start with TDM" project initiative," he adds. Examples of this include optimized catalog searches, the new TDM Tool Loader (which comes with the standard software), new Walter and Coromant catalog import and even easier downloading of online tool data. And as an added bonus, the package offers optimized searching of more than 58,000 tool models in the TDM Data and Graphic Generator.

TDM Regional Account Patrick Bliki: "The success of a TDM
customer project relies heavily on the availability of data
and graphics for the tools used. Our TDM software offers
interfaces to all popular CAD/CAM and NC programming systems."

Simulation interface
Accurate tool data (3D models / feeds and speeds) is essential for realistic production simulation in CAD/CAM. TDM offers standard interfaces to popular systems such as Catia, TopSolidCAM or Vericut. A new feature is the TDM 3D Solid Converter. It provides complete 3D tool models for CAM and simulation systems with just a few mouse clicks, thus bridging the gap between real tool data and simulation analysis. To ensure maximum ease in using and integrating 3D solids into CAM and simulation processes, the solids must meet the exact requirements of each system. Graphics can also be modified with the TDM 3D Solid Editor. The 3D solid can then be loaded into the programming or simulation process. Visitors to the Industrie Lyon 2013 show will be able to see the TDM 3D Solid Converter for Catia, TopSolidCAM and other systems in action.
