High Performance Machine Taps

In most cases, tapping is the last step in the manufacturing process. A tool breakage during thread milling usually destroys the entire preceding output. To meet the high demands, we have especially developed our HSS-PM-Machine Taps. They are in almost all materials universally applicable and realise 30% up to 70% longer tool lives compared to the HSS-E-Machine Taps. Our taps have an extreme hard and wear-resistant hardlube coating with excellent lubricity properties, that ensures optimum chip removal and surface finishes. They are available with or without internal cooling in three different tolerances (6HX, 6GX and 2BX). They are suitable for different machines and drives.
