IT Project Portfolio Manager & Project Office (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities:
Design (concepts), purpose, implement and support the transformation for a transparent and efficient IT PPM (Project Portfolio Management) procedure, through continues involvement and feedback from business and IT
Coordination and planning of the IT project portfolio, the IT project roadmap and responsible for the portfolio processes (IT portfolio management governance, portfolio board, portfolio roadmap, budgeting, portfolio approval review and portfolio synchronization)
Responsible to ensure that the business requirement/demand process (sprint planning, sprint review, sprint retrospective and hosting those sessions) are executed in defined way, and alignment (impact/dependencies) of those with IT project portfolio
Governing (makes sure) the process to register new project with IT context Supporting business and IT during this process
Support business and IT in prioritizing demands and projects. Orchestrating resource allocation and management of those is an integral part of responsibility
Expectation and escalation management and hosting of those sessions with relevant stakeholders from business and IT
Ensure risks and dependencies are adequately addressed by driving proper collaboration and alignment across the involved parties from business and IT
Portfolio and project KPI monitoring (collecting data, evaluation, and reporting) are under your responsibility. Providing a development/roadmap overview of the IT project portfolio, involving, and communicating to relevant stakeholders is another responsible area
Proactively improving the IT PPM and PMO processes and measuring the delivery performance is an important part of your role
Your Profile:
Bachelor or master’s degree in business administration or business and computer science or any other relevant field
About minimum 3, ideally 5 years and more of working experience in portfolio management and/or project management, ideally with IT context
Knowledge how to setup and govern an IT portfolio management and IT project management office
Experience in understanding business and IT requirements
Ability to collaboration closely with business and IT stakeholders in a cross-cultural international environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Coaching and consulting skills in the area of IT project portfolio and project management would be beneficial
Fluent in English is required, German skills would be beneficial
