WTX-HFDS is the first four-fluted drilling tool on the market and it revolutionizes the way drilling is done. Its pyramid-like geometry enables aggressive and precise spot drilling by distributing the cutting force over four cutting edges. This results in a longer tool life. Drill stability is maintained thanks to optimal cooling provided by four spiralized internal cooling channels, making the drilling process safer and more efficient.

The WTX-HFDS solid carbide drill is the perfect solution when it comes to material machining. The drill for use in micro dimensions

The WTX - Micro achieves high WTX performance drilling quality up to 30xD even in micro dimensions as well as highest positioning accuracy at the same time.

The 5xD version was designed as a pilot drill for WTX-Micro deep hole drills and thus offers excellent conditions for the micro deep hole drilling process. Thanks to their excellent self-centering, the micro drills can be operated up to 8xD without piloting and centering.

The MaxiMill grooving cutter system closes a gap in the insert milling tool series: a program for grooving with which grooves and slots can be machined or parting-off operations can be carried out with process reliability. The series uses existing inserts from the SX system and thus covers almost the entire range of possibilities for ISO P/M/K/N/S. In terms of the wide range of tool carriers, MaxiMill - Slot-SX offers a choice between the most common DIN connections, by thread or via slip-on milling arbors.

How does DirectCooling (DC) work?

Toolholders with DirectCooling (DC) have two internal channels which direct the coolant directly to the cutting edge. One channel targets the rake face from above, while a second channel targets the clearance face from below. Why is this so important?
The pinpoint free-surface cooling of DirectCooling toolholders makes all the difference: Compared to cooling aimed exclusively at the rake face, it extends tool life by up to 63%.

Once you have used it, you will never want to do without it again: Center clamps are useful tools that often make the daily work of machinists much easier. In order to be able to fully exploit its advantages even for particularly fine workpieces, we have included the ZSG mini, a small-part centric clamp, in our product range.
