The GROB model S8 slotting machine is an extremely

compact, modular design concept dedicated to the slotting,

coining, trimming to length and forming of cup and ring

shaped sheet-metal parts.

With the mechanically defined slotting stroke of this machine,

in addition to slotting and trimming, combined slotting and

coining operations as are needed, for example, to produce

snap ring grooves in clutch disc carriers, can be accomplished.

One or more workstations

The machine can be used in a single station configuration

for executing individual process steps. Its modular design

concept allows the machine to be configured with 2, 3 or

4 stations, perfectly matching the specific customer requirements.

These multi-station configurations can carry out

several process steps in parallel.

The workstations are synchronised and feature internally

automated loading and unloading.
