Description

The iR series is Etxetar’s internal milling machine concept, developed for the precise and high-output machining of steel and cast iron crankshafts and camshafts. Based on a proven milling center architecture, it features two NC-controlled workpiece spindles, internal milling heads, and a fully modular design.

Thanks to its structure and high stiffness, iR offers exceptional chip evacuation, reliable tool performance, and excellent part accessibility. The configuration can be retooled into an external milling (oR) or turn-broach (tR) setup, providing unmatched flexibility for powertrain line planning.
