With a 5-year warranty, this series of vises has been specifically designed for 5-axis machines, allowing machining operations on 5 sides of the workpiece with perfect alignment. The space-saving design offers extremely high wear resistance and reduced deflection. Maximum compatibility with the most popular pallet change systems.

The name itself identifies the main features of the vise: extreme compactness, easy handling, and the insert system called "GRIP". This system includes a range of interchangeable inserts, usable on both sides, mounted on top of the main jaw. These inserts clamp the workpiece using sharp or specially shaped teeth, depending on the type and hardness of the material being held. The clamping force is significantly higher than existing vises, including our Art.640, while maintaining a more compact and lightweight design. This is thanks to the position of the clamping screw being much closer to the workpiece and the integral design of the guides and jaws.

The self-centering adjustment is simple and can be performed from the top using the fork supplied as standard. Additionally, the vise can be converted from single to double clamping by adding the intermediate jaw.

The reversible jaws are made from a single solid piece, and the four base positions (at 90°), along with the front through-holes, further enhance versatility.

The vise is fully compatible with Zero Point systems and Quick Change Plates, enabling fast positioning of parts and fixtures. This allows setup times to be reduced by up to 95%, offering quick and secure positioning of the vise — the easiest and most effective way to reduce downtime and increase profits.
