Attending Autodesk University 2010 was a lot like being at a concert when they start firing free tee-shirts into the crowd. No, there wasn't any pushing, shoving or fistfights, but the crowd was alive with excitement to see and hear what Autodesk was bringing to the table this year.
The good folks at Autodesk have been extremely busy bringing new comprehensive end-to-end solutions to the mechanical design and manufacturing crowd. Right in the middle of this was our InventorCAM booth, exactly in the perfect position to further this "one-stop shop" approach to design and manufacturing.
One AU attendee after another created a steady stream of AutoCAD and Inventor Users approaching us with excited questions about using their Autodesk Mechanical software applications to program their CNC equipment.
Also mixed together with these folks were numerous Autodesk personnel eager to catch up with the new InventorCAM 2011. No we didn't get any free tee-shirts, but it sure was nice feeling like a rock star while we were at Autodesk University 2010.
