GANTRY EAGLE 1400 Closes the gap EDM applications are becoming larger and also more precisely detailed. OPS-INGERSOLL fulfils these requirements with the EDM-machine GANTRY EAGLE 1400. This machine has been a successful seller within the last year and is a top performer as well. The machine has a work-tank of 1.510 x 2.590 x 790 mm and axis travel ways (X/Y/Z) of 1.250 / 2.350 / 700 m and is equipped with the EAGLE POWERTEC control. Due to the high axis-travel-speed (EAGLE POWER JUMP) and the generator technology EAGLE POWERTEC the machine can be used dynamically and efficient for big-mould-manufacturing as well as complex work pieces. This means that the increase of the efficiency results in the optimum ratio of EDM to jump time. High jump speeds up to 18 m/min and the reduction of the application times up to 50 % are possible with the GANTRY EAGLE 1400. As an option, the GANTRY EAGLE 1400 can also be offered in a „plus“-version. GANTRY-style machine in XXL-size To meet the requirements of the large mould industry, OPS-INGERSOLL developed with decades of experience the GANTRY EAGLE 2000 for the manufacturing of large EDM applications. The machine offers future oriented and flexible solutions for the large EDM tasks of the mould and die industry. With a work tank size of 2.020 x 3.220 x 1.350 mm and axis travel ways (X/Y/Z) of 1.550 / 2.750 / 1.000 mm is the GANTRY 2000 the ideal machine for big moulds with smallest footprint. The generator, fire extinguisher, cooling unit and the power-supply-cabinet are integrated in the service module of the machine. The machine offers best access for loading, set-up and control and is ideal suited for partial or complete applications.

Withn the full automated MoldCenter of OPS-INGERSOLL both technologies, HSC and EDM, can be combined. Due to that, an efficiency can be reached, which could never be accomplished with two separate systems.
