1. Side
For form fit clamping of high-strength raw material. The hardened and coated surface of the clamping jaws deforms the work- piece surface during the clamping process and thus increases the holding force of the clamping location.
Practical advice
Best results with workpieces with more than 1100 N/mm2 material strength and sturdy material surface.

2. Side
For clamping of grinded material. High holding force through increased friction factor. The workpiece surface will not be damaged.
Practical advice
Best results with workpieces in mold and die production. 1,5 – 2,0 times higher friction factor or holding force than smooth clamping surfaces.
