We also rely on the URMA interchangeable head system for MX boronite, offering a modular cutting tool. The CBN-tipped milling tool is ideal for machining powder metallurgy materials, hardened steels, and cast iron.
CBN (cubic boron nitride), the second hardest material after diamond, offers significantly lower tool wear compared to other cutting materials. In addition to precise shaping and dimensional accuracy, this also enables reliable machining of hard materials such as steel with a hardness of over 60 HRC.
