An analysis of 25 corporates' net-zero commitments has found that they cover, on average, just 40% of annual greenhouse gas emissions, with the likes of Unilever, Nestle and BMW Group named among the worst offenders. The findings were published today (7 February) by Berlin-based organisation the New Climate Institute and non-profit Carbon Market Watch and have made national headlines here in the UK.
