60 TON CAPACITY MOLD TRANSFER CART

60 TON CAPACITY MOLD TRANSFER CART
Customer Need:
Our customer, one of the largest companies in the automotive sector, wanted a safe and efficient solution for transporting car body dies to the presses. This transportation process needed to be suited to the factory’s high production pace and high capacity. They also wanted to minimize the chaos and safety risks caused by forklifts.
Project Challenges:
The challenges faced in this project were as follows:
- Maneuverability in Tight Spaces: Due to the narrow spaces and high personnel traffic inside the factory, the cart’s maneuverability was a crucial factor. The cart had to be able to move smoothly and quickly in tight areas.
- Operational Duration and Durability: The cart needed to be durable enough to withstand the high work tempo and long-term use.
Our Solution:
To meet these requirements, we developed a transfer cart with the following features:
- Low-Profile Design: To enable the cart to move in tight spaces, a low-profile design was used. This allows easy passage through narrow spaces and challenging factory conditions.
- Fully Equipped, Remote-Controlled System: A fully controllable remote system was used to ensure the cart could move safely through areas with personnel traffic. This allows the operator to guide the cart from a safe distance.
- Durable and Reliable Structure: The cart’s design was optimized for high work tempo and long-term use, ensuring long-lasting, uninterrupted operation under various factory conditions. Security measures were implemented with area scanners and magnetic bumpers to protect against obstacles and forklift traffic.
- Operational Duration: The transfer cart was designed to operate for extended periods. It included optimized battery selection and quick charging points, allowing operators to recharge during break times to ensure continuous transfer operations.
This solution provided the customer with a safe, efficient, and reliable transportation system, making the transfer of automotive body dies to the presses easier and more efficient.
