Milling spindles from GMN are used amongst others for applications at mould and toolmaking, at micro machining and at machining of components for aerospace.

These spindles are available with GMN grinding quill interface and with HSK interface. The maximum speed is 250,000 rpm (series UHS) and the housing diameter covers the range from 80 up to 230 mm.

ABEC 7/9 and HG as well as UP according to GMN factory also special bearings. These are touchdown bearings as well as bearings for vacuum technology, medical technology, machine tool applications, measurement/navigation technology and bearing systems.
GMN freewheel clutches can be used as indexing devices, backstops or overrunning clutches.
Our sprag type freewheel clutch guarantees highest torque capacity and highest indexing accuracy in a minimized constructed space for a huge variety of different applications.

The Embedded System IDEA-4S stands for “Integrated Data Acquisition and Evaluation for Spindles”. It records signals from the sensors or sensor systems connected to the small electronics in spindles or motors, evaluates them and makes them available via an IO-Link interface. IDEA-4S fits perfectly into modern IIoT structures. IO-Link can be used as an interface independently of fieldbus systems and, therefore, employed universally for all kinds of control systems.
