The company was founded in 1980. Since this time - a respectable long time for a software company - we managed to develop, improve and adapt our products to the needs of the fast growing and changing CNC market. The software market is fast growing and changing market, the technical issues are changing very fast as well. We always see these changings as a chance and we will always try to improve our product to your benefits.

OPUS means "Open production supporting system": so already in the name of OPUS you can find our concept. Openness is the main philosophy in all parts of the company. Not only in the CAM software itself, we also live the openness in the contact with our customers, our partners and distributors and within the OPUS team.

Most of the OPUS IT engineers and CNC specialists are working for the company for many years, some of them from the beginning. This also shows the continuity which is necessary for the development of our software products. Also in managing the distribution of OPUS we live our openness: The main software development team in Kirchheim-Teck (Germany) provides the OPUS kernel modules and the OPUS system centers adapt the CAM system OPUS to the special needs, the workflow and the surroundings of the customers, always in close contact to the customer himself. A truely approved concept to secure marketability and to ensure dynamics and movement.
