Rapid.Tech expands “vertical manufacturing”

“Increasing numbers of companies from traditional industrial sectors are using Rapid.Tech as a marketing and communications platform.”, quotes Messe Erfurt CEO Wieland Kniffka.

In 2016, the Erfurt trade fair duo, Rapid.Tech & FabCon 3.D, is once again heading for record levels of attendance. From 14 to 16 June, the trade fair management expects about 160 exhibitors from ten countries. Kniffka has identified another trend here: “Adding a third day prompts many companies to significantly increase the size of their stand areas and exhibit more machines.” The current exhibitor list boasts a large number of market leaders, including botspot GmbH, Concept Laser GmbH, EOS GmbH, Keyence Deutschland GmbH, Materialise GmbH, SLM Solutions GmbH and Stratasys GmbH, amongst others.

With FabCon 3.D Rapid.Tech got a companion in 2013 aiming at non industrial visitors. FabCon 3.D is the meeting place for creative Start-Ups as well as insiders and the 3D Printing community.
