RoboJob is making history once again at the EMO trade fair in Hanover. In addition to presenting the completely new Tower, the Belgian market leader in CNC automation is also introducing the brand-new EGrip71 this year. This in-house developed servo gripper takes flexibility and performance to a higher level and is exclusively available on the new generation Tower.

Indispensable addition to the new Tower

Eight years after the successful launch of the first Tower, RoboJob is setting the tone with a completely new design. The new Tower offers more capacity, flexibility, and autonomy than ever before. The introduction of the EGrip71 further increases this potential: together, they form a unique combination that offers CNC companies unparalleled opportunities in high-mix, low-volume production and large series.

“The Tower has always stood out for its flexibility and capacity,” says Helmut De Roovere, CEO of RoboJob. “The EGrip71 now makes our Tower even more powerful. Together, they prove that automation can be more compact, smarter, and more versatile, without companies having to switch to heavier robots.”

A completely in-house innovation

The EGrip71 was developed entirely by RoboJob, from design to control. The gripper is no longer controlled by an external robot controller, but has integrated motors and a controller in the gripper itself. Its compact design and a new tool changer increase the net payload of the 35 kg robot on which it is mounted. For the customer, this means more lifting capacity and more possibilities.

More possibilities in one gripper

The new gripper retains all the functions of the current SG245 and SG325, but adds a lot more:

· Fully automatic gripper change: without an operator, it is possible to switch automatically between handling workpieces, clamping devices, or tools.

· Flexible gripping of discs, blocks, and shafts, internally and externally, with a large range. Available in a two-point and three-point version.

· Interchangeable gripper claws: no more complete front changes, but individual claw changes for maximum efficiency.

· Autoviser integration: this EGrip71 variant can automatically adjust and exchange the jaws of the machine clamp in a milling machine. Other variants can exchange all kinds of machine jaws in lathes.

· The EGrip71 can adjust or exchange clamps in milling machines and even automatically replace jaws in turning machines.

· Maximum payload: thanks to its compact design and interchangeable grippers, the robot's lifting capacity is maximized for each specific task.

World premiere of the automation duo

The EGrip71 is only available on the new generation Tower and will make its world premiere together with that Tower at the EMO trade fair in Hanover, from September 22 to 26, 2025. RoboJob invites all visitors to experience both innovations up close in Hall 015, Stand B25.

More information is available at www.robojob.eu, where visitors can also request free tickets for the trade fair.
