A crown as a CNC workpiece? That's exactly what Siemens, Emuge, and Open Mind set out to achieve. Said and done—together, we made it happen!

This video shows the manufacturing process of an exceptional crown workpiece in collaboration with EMUGE FRANKEN and OPEN MIND.

What makes this project special:
The delicate structures of the crown workpiece require the highest precision and surface quality. Advanced CAM programming by OPEN MIND and finely tuned precision tools from EMUGE-FRANKEN enable efficient implementation of even the most sensitive details with repeatable accuracy. Our SINUMERIK control system ensures maximum process reliability and excellent results.

The result:
A workpiece that combines traditional crown architecture with modern CNC technology—impressively demonstrating what is possible in machining today.
