New high-performance solid carbide disc milling cutter from SIMTEK!
Within the new product group simmill QX, SIMTEK is expanding its portfolio for general groove milling with high-performance solid carbide disc milling cutter with 18 teeth for milling depths of up to 15.0 mm. These are offered with the also new in-house GRADIUM cutting materials GRADIUM X5 and GRADIUM X7.
The new simmill QX solid carbide disc milling cutter with a cutting diameter of 63 mm enable smooth cuts thanks to an optimized cutting edge geometry, resulting in better surface qualities.
As standard, these new disc milling cutter are available with cutting from 2.0 mm to 10.0 mm and a possible milling depth of up to 15.0 mm. When selecting cutting grades for these tools, SIMTEK relies on GRADIUM X5 and GRADIUM X7, which are also new in-house cutting grades. GRADIUM X5 is a new special cutting grade for machining stainless steels, heat-resistant titanium and superalloys, and steels up to 70 HRC. The new all-round cutting grade GRADIUM X7 is particularly suitable for use in alloyed and unalloyed steels. With these two new cutting grades, SIMTEK is expanding its portfolio , consisting of the universal cutting grade GRADIUM X8 and the two turning specialists GRADIUM X4 and X6, with additional high-performance cutting grades that have been specially developed and ideally matched to SIMTEK tools.
