Description

The Seitec OPC Hub complements the umati ecosystem with a central, powerful data platform for industrial connectivity. As an aggregating and historizing OPC UA server, it enables access to real-time and historical data from any OPC UA servers and umatiGateways using OPC UA PubSub. 

The solution is based on a certified OPC UA SDK and has been validated in collaboration with the Fraunhofer IWU OPC UA Lab. It supports both OPC UA client/server communication and modern PubSub transmission via MQTT. This allows umati-compliant data sources to be flexibly integrated and existing OPC UA dashboards to continue to be used without modification. 

A special highlight is the integrated Historical Access, which enables access to complete variable and event histories without separate data recording. This creates a solid foundation for AI-supported analyses, process optimization, and intelligent manufacturing.
