The WAGO Group is one of the internationally leading suppliers of connection and automation technology as well as interface electronics. In the field of spring clamp technology, the family-run company is the world market leader. Since its founding in 1951, WAGO has grown steadily and today employs approximately 8,600 people worldwide, including around 4,000 in Germany at its headquarters in Minden in eastern Westphalia and in Sondershausen in Thuringia. WAGO has been producing at its headquarters in Minden (North Rhine-Westphalia) since 1951, in Roissy (France) since 1971, in Domdidier (Switzerland) since 1977, in Milwaukee (USA) since 1979, and in Sondershausen (Thuringia) and Tokyo (Japan) since 1990. Further production sites have been located in Delhi (India) since 1995 and in both Tianjin (People's Republic of China) and Wroclaw (Poland) since 1997.
