AKKO's story also focuses on the recent history of the Turkish manufacturing industry. With the development of the supply industry as well as the main industry in Turkey; AKKO, named after "Abdullah Karakuş and Sons", took its first step into the industry in 1986 as a production workshop to produce spare parts. However, like the Turkish industry, AKKO was growing day by day and its production needs were increasing exponentially. When a tool he used in metal processing did not meet his expectations, lathe master Abdullah Karakuş said "We must produce this in the best possible way and show it to the whole world!". With this idea, they set out to produce industrial tools. AKKO, which had been producing spare parts until then, started to produce tools that gave the metal its actual shape. The quality of the products transformed AKKO,a production enthusiast, from a small workshop into a factory.



At AKKO, which has the most advanced production technologies and engineering practices of the period and aims to keep up with the times with its investments in R&D and P&D, the process begins with the entry of raw materials into the factory and ends with the shipment of the final product. All processes from start to finish take place within the institution. Thus, AKKO continues its journey without compromising on quality.



The values that carried AKKO from a small workshop of 90 m² to its first factory of 8.000 m², and from there to the giant production facility of 40.000 m² built with the "Smart Factory" concept are that its vision that does not compromise on quality standards, its customer satisfaction-oriented working principle and its passion for export.



Today, AKKO's tools shape metal and add value to production with the "Made in Türkiye" stamp in 90 countries.

As AKKO, we produce Turning Tools, Threading and Grooving Tools, Drilling Tools, Milling Tools, and Special Tools.



We provide service with an annual production capacity of 750,000 tools and 70,000 profile inserts, and 10 thousand standard product types, supported by state-of-the-art machines and equipment originating from Turkey, Japan, Germany, Sweden, and Switzerland.



To better respond to the production needs of our solution partners, we, with our structure that does not hesitate to step into new production lines, are adding tool holders to our product range, which are indispensable for production. We are also the only domestic special insert manufacturer in Turkey.
