AM POLYMERS GmbH (AMP) produces and sells qualified plastic powders for industrial additive production (3D printing). We are a manufacturer of traditional plastics which are standardized and well known in injection moulding and therefore essential for additive production.Founded in 2014 as AM Polymer Research UG as a spin-off of the University of Duisburg-Essen, the company has successfully developed further.The application center in Krefeld (founded in 2015) and the creation of our own plastic powder production facility in Willich (2018) testify to our innovative strength and success.

The focus of our activities is on powder-based plastics processing using laser sintering (LS) or powder bed fusion. For these processes, we develop and market corresponding plastic powders such as polypropylene, polyethylene or a flexible material.At the same time, we offer research and development services for partners such as BMW AG, Deutsche Bahn AG, Daimler AG and Siemens AG in order, for example, to qualify additive manufacturing processes for series application or to develop customer specific materials.
