March 2023 – At EMO Hannover 2023, ARES Carbide is pleased to introduce a completely renewed popular SpotDrill and Engraving tools with indexable inserts for a wide range of machining operation.
SpotDrill inserts feature new performed chipbreaker design for greater machining efficiency when working in hard and soft materials.
Ares gives the opportunity to choose from many different type of high quality coatings to obtain the best performance on all kind of materials from non-ferrous to exotic-alloy, titanium, etc…
The range of toolholders have as a standard a central coolant hole aimed to cool the insert and the cutting area in the workpiece.
Engraving tools are the best solution in the market to realize engraving on all the working pieces, it has been been tested up to 60Hrc materials with a really amazing performance.
The range is composed by 45° and 60° inserts with a small radious corner to be able to machining also thin characters.
The toolholders have a 6mm shank and can fitted both in CNC machines and small CNC pantograph.
