Our AT830NTE CNC is a heavy duty roll turning lathe suitable for grooving, redressing, notching and marking of rolling rolls and cylinders. The machine is specifically designed for roll maintenance shop applications. The four guide ways are able to grant the necessary rigidity and stability for long cylinder machining. The SIEMENS 840 DSL control has the full potential for the demanding performance of this application. The dedicated interface makes machine operations easy and fast for machine high productivity. Unlike the usual combined machines there is no need to dismount the notching head when operating the machine as a lathe, thus saving a lot of time and simplifying your operator?s work. While notching, the turning toolholder just need to be moved backward, without taking down or dismantling any part.
