GEAR SHAPER CUTTERS-


  • CTI is a highly capable and technically advanced manufacturer of gear shaper cutters. Our broad range of products, commitment to high accuracy, use of advanced coatings and materials, and ability to provide custom solutions demonstrate our expertise in the field of gear cutting technology. 
  • We make Gear shaper cutters to produce- 
  •       Internal and External Gears (Spur and Helical)
  •       Splines
  •       Sprockets
  •       Timing Pulleys


Available Cutter Types:


  • Disc Type: A common and versatile type, often with a central bore for mounting.
  • Shank Type: Designed with an integral shank for mounting, particularly useful for reaching internal features or when clearance is limited. This is the type highlighted for its impressive 360mm length capability.
  • Deep Counterbore: Similar to disc type but with an extended counterbore, allowing for deeper reach or clearance over fasteners.


Range of Dimensions and Specifications:

  • Module Range: 0.5 to 20 Module. 
  • Accuracy: AAA, AA, A and B as per DIN 1829. 
  • Coatings: TiN, TiCN, TiAlN to enhance tool life up to 10 times. 
  • Material: High Speed Steel grade M35, M4, ASP 2030 and ASP 2052, MC90 -These are high-performance tool steels known for their excellent hardness, wear resistance, and toughness which are critical for cutting tools. ASP steels (produced by powder metallurgy) offer even better performance due to their fine, uniform microstructure.
