I have a Maho 600e with a phillips control .
the problem i have is that the y axis does not seem to be getting released when i try to move it and the machine errors out also whe turning the machine on it seems to be being stopped form moving and also grinds a lot before eventually erroring out. Has anyone got any pointers on what could be causing this and a possible fix.

Have you checked for mechanical issues? Does it slide freely when disengaged?
