Honestly, I think it would be a ghost town....quiet here as is, and a Google search will point people quickly to the busy discussions (here mostly, I would think).

Only if the company participates.
If they are too busy to participate, then this forum is probably a better option.

I agree if the person who develop the software joins in then a separate forum would be nice.
The time has come the woodworker said to speak of many things. 0f routers and Wood , chips and paints and stains and CNC and other things.
I think it would be good to have some representation from the company, be it here or on a dedicated forum.
As long as we all 'play nice' and keep things constructive, I think it would benefit everyone.

I don't really see any big advantage of UCCNC having their own forum at least not at this time. Balazs (and UCCNC) is very responsive to user's assistance and improvements and the members of forum are proving to be very helpful. All of us are here because Mach 3 is unfixable and Mach 4 is still years away, if ever, from being a finished product. ArtSoft has lost sight of it's customers so people are moving on to other options. I just ordered the Ethernet controller and UCCNC threw in the software for free. All for $40 less than a copy of Mach 4. I'll report back on how it works.
