Hi,
I have an original machine, B control with AMTS serial tape emulator. Otherwise as it came out of the factory.
Suddenly and without any warning a few days ago the spindle won't start. Press the start button, and maybe the spindle will turn a few turns, but more often, not even a twitch and the relays and servo contactor all get tripped off. Screen says Emergency stop, NO RPM.
The VFD on this is a Parajust, which I know folk don't think kindly of, but this machine's has always been fine.

Greatly appreciate some trouble shooting guidance, as I cannot see how to determine which of the relays in the chain is taking the system down.
It maybe the analogue board on the parajust, is triggering the K2 sheer pin circuit, or some complication like that, but quite how I go about detecting that is not clear to me.

So, if anyone has some thoughts on diagnosis other than tossing the parajust aside, I'd be grateful to hear them.

Mended it myself. Tantalum Bead capacitor on the analogue board replaced.
Actually replaced all the Tantalum caps on the Parajust control boards as had one fail on this machine before.
