  1. kiss-cutting PE+mPET laminate film: mPET cuts before PE

    Hi, I have a film that is a laminate of metallized Polyethylene Thereftalate(mPET) + 50 microns Polyethylene(PE).
I want to kiss-cut the PE in order to peel it off. However the PE stays almost...
  2. Re: TB6560 chinese drive. Y axis stalling and probably losing steps.

Ehm I meant 15A max for the PSU, not 15W of course.
  3. Re: TB6560 chinese drive. Y axis stalling and probably losing steps.

Hi, ok I see, it makes sense. Again thank you for the interesting info. I thought that maybe a low quality leadscrew for example might not be precisely 5mm. I think I would have noticed, but I think...
  4. Re: TB6560 chinese drive. Y axis stalling and probably losing steps.

Hi, yes, apart from the stalling events(the main reason why I decided to buy new drives), I thought that not enough accurate "steps per mm" setting could be the issue too on long jobs of many hours....
  5. Re: TB6560 chinese drive. Y axis stalling and probably losing steps.

Ok, I am honestly not sure that the inductance is 5mH. A few years back I had a datasheet from the manufacturer(I will try to find it back), but I couldn't find it again online. Online I only found a...
  6. TB6560 chinese drive. Y axis stalling and probably losing steps.

Hi all, I'm getting insane after this. So i have a 6040z chinese machine. The machine overall has always run decently well, however sometimes the Y axis stalled, which is indeed the axis with more...

Re: Deformed path/infill at higher speeds.

Ok I found what was wrong. I forgot about those options; I had constant velocity checked in general settings but the CV tolerance was way too high. I now have set it to 0,1mm and everything seems...

    Deformed path/infill at higher speeds.

Hello everyone. I have a stepper motor milling machine. I have attached to it an extruder so that I can make 3d prints. I am only reporting this detail because the part I am showing you is a 3d print...

    Measuring and predicting accuracy

Hi guys, I have a chinese 6040Z, 2.2kW, I want to measure and predict it's accuracy : for now I found how to measure backlash and linear motion precision and repeat precision. Both under no load....
