I want to use a selected immersion point in HSM-plane roughing so that the tool immerses in my prefabricated drill hole and the processing can be started.

However under plane roughing/link/immersion point, I only get the error “tool path is empty”.
I also get the same error with any Z constants infeeds.
The problem is known to me usually when one forgets to apply the check mark under paths/edit paths/calculation on current raw material. However with this part it doesn’t make a different if I process with activated or deactivated raw material, the error persist.


Has anybody got an idea?

I can understand your problem; I would try to apply the check mark on“ limit depth“(underneath the immersion point).

For me that helped...
