EMSIL TECHTRANS was founded in 1995 in Oradea, Romania with its first activity of designing, manufacturing and selling CNC Machine Tools, the first CNC machine tool being commissioned in Finland in 1997. The strategy of Emsil was to diversify and expand as early as possible its capabilities and flexibility to manufacture a wide range of products in a large range of industries. So, through constant investments and expansion of own capabilities, now a group of companies, active in 3 Romanian cities (Oradea, Cluj-Napoca and Aiud), EMSIL has 2 main activities:

- Designing, manufacturing and selling new and retrofitted medium and heavy sized special customer oriented CNC machine tools (boring and milling machines with moving columns, gantry milling machines, vertical lathes, deep hole drilling machines and displaceable rotary tables);
- Manufacturing industrial equipment (medium and heavy sized welded structures with machining and final assembly) from a wide range of sectors (naval, aerospace, vacuum, solar, pressure vessels and energy).

EMSIL believes in the importance of manufacturing and developing the most appropriate products in order to cover different industries' requirements. Consequently, through the years, EMSIL has adopted and developed a customer and market oriented approach, being able to positively answer to customers’ different demands by providing customized solutions.
