Sieg X2 (and similar) Lead-screw kits

Sieg X2, Grizzly, Harbor Freight etc, CNC lead-screw conversion kits

    Hi,
I have just joined this community, and would like to introduce myself, and a new product.

I am a Mechanical Design Engineer, living in the UK, running my own business, which specialises in Solidworks 3D CAD Design and CAD CAM programming.

A year ago I converted my brand-new XJ12 mini-mill to CNC, using parts designed and made by myself. The machine ran well, and the conversion proved to be very successful. I noted the interest in the similar, slightly smaller, Sieg X2, so bought one of these machines, and then adapted and improved the design to suit. I now manufacture these parts and sell them as an affordable self-assembly kit, with full instruction manual. The first of these are now up for sale, at a special introductory price.

Full details of these kits can be viewed on my web-site www.computool.co.uk

If you wish you can email [email protected] for details etc.

    Thanks for looking

    AJJ

I cannot seem to edit this post.....

Since writing this post, I no longer produce the CNC kits as profits were too small. I now sell the detailed drawings, complete with a manual, list of suppliers etc for owners to make their own parts. These can be found on e-bay, just search "Sieg X2 CNC conversion Drawings"
