    plc 114: table not updated

    Hi,

    First post on here.

I have an old SCM pratix NST48, It's running kvara.I have had to manually jog the spindle away from the gantry, reset the gantry after removing the tool. I'm not too sure how to update the table to tell it that the tool has been removed. The manual suggested 2 methods to update -

Enter M171 into MDI, which I tried in the machine panel, or

from the Xilog Plus 'operator interface icon'. I have had a look, and I'm not sure which icon is being referred to.

    TIA!

Re: plc 114: table not updated

    Hi,

I had the same error code (PLC114)on exactly the same machine after a power cut during a tool change. The machine was confused and was not aware of the tool in the holder.

On the machine panel, in the bottom left corner of the MDI F6 tab, it should read T=1 after calibrating but in this case it was blank.

On the shift +F12 tab in the bottom right hand corner there is small box with the carousel icon and T= text. In this box you need to enter the correct tool number to correspond with the tool in the holder. Press the cycle start button. This should update the table and the error code should disappear. Make sure you enter the correct tool number in the box!

    I hope this helps.
