Ypsomed is building a second high-end toolmaking facility using Fehlmann technology

In parallel with its existing site in Burgdorf, Ypsomed is investing in a second, nearly identical tool and mold making facility in Solothurn to double its output of injection molds. With this move, Ypsomed is consistently committed to Switzerland as a technology hub and is creating attractive jobs in Solothurn. Michael Maurer (Project Manager Tool Manufacturing) and Elias Wermuth (Manager Tool Manufacturing) explain in an exclusive interview with SMM which aspects played a decisive role in the investment.
