FELMI Srl, established in 1988, since it’s very beginning has always acted in the field of designing and manufacturing of medium and high frequency inductive heating generators.
During its first years of operation FELMI mainly acted as a third party manufacturer of electronic control devices for medium frequency converters, which were supplied to an European producer of induction pre-heaters intended for the manufacturing of electric cables.
In 1993 the Management realized that the right market conditions were come to go for a different Company’s policy and, consequently, they decided to start designing and manufacturing “finished devices” branded with their own Company name. From the very first stage the main peculiarity of Felmi’s branded products was the decision to adopt Transistors (IGBT and Mosfet types) for the power stages.

The choice of going for its own branded devices was supported by the understanding that the most important winning card could have only been the binding condition to invest the full Company’s resources (both technical and financials) in a continuous developing program of the designed and manufactured devices.
Above mentioned choice allows Felmi, in the years, to keep improving Company’s market shares and nowadays Felmi represents a firm reference name in its field of application, capable to offer to its potential customers a wide range of technologically advanced machines, the main characteristics of which are the following ones: reduced overall dimensions, high energy efficiency, great reliability and certain repeatability of the production processes.
