I would like to find a reasonably priced TNC 155 controller for my Bridgeport Interact.
I have a Torchmate TM3 generation 3 THC. I need the torch holder. The part that breaks away from the magnet on the THC lifter. Thank Youl
Hello,
I have a TM3 with a 3rd generation THC with the magnetic breakaway torch holder. I have the lifter with magnetic base but I do not have the actual part that breaks away, the part that holds...
I have a Birmingham NSL 19X60 lathe. Previous owner crashed it and tore up one of the change gears. I'll give overall details and can provide more specific details where needed.
I'm not a gear...
I'm looking for an operator and service manual for a Birmingham 19X60 manual lathe.
Something like this? Sent you a PM.

Anyone know if the TNC 151 and 155 are able to interchange with no problems?
Update. Got it working. I think it's a power issue. T1 was set to 220 and 20 for the input. My schematic showed input to T1 on 220 and 0. I switched it and was able to start the spindle.
Problem with machine resetting with turning on the spindle. Machine will reset and come back with error "Short Current Interruption"
Power machine on. Hit "CE" button. Hit yellow button. Hit the...
Do you have the part number for the bearings you installed?
I am looking at a Mazak Quick Turn 10N with a Mazatrol Cam T2 control. The machine starts up with error 216 "Spindle Start Misoperation"
Anyone ever had this problem?
Looks like you lost the parameters. The default language is German. Install new batteries and then put your parameters back in the machine and you should be good to go.
Way past all those errors now. I wasn't able to find a operators manual. Anyone know how to home this machine?
Fixed. You have to select the gear through M11 or 12,13, or 14 as far as I could tell. All cleared up now.
3 phase power? Phases correct? It is possible to get the phase reversed which would run the hydraulic pump backwards and not produce any pressure.
I am getting a gear out position error on my Romi 35E.
As far as I can tell there are 4 switches. 2 are on the handle below the CRT.
I believe the other 2 are on the headstock below the CRT. When...
I was wrong. Romi came through with the manuals I needed.
I'm not going to bother posting here. You cant diagnose problems over the internet. There are too many variables. People are just guessing. There is not support for any machine more than a few years...
I think they are separate but the axis stop moving when the alarm comes up.
There is a sandwich of 3 boards that drive the spindle. Is this where the DC Volts comes from? I'm thinking its the big...
Back with an update and a new problem.
I installed the harness. Everything is good to go there. I can enter a program and I can jog the machine.
The machine will error with 409 Spindle Serial...
Hopefully it is under the dirt. I think they painted the motor blue.

No. The first picture is what I am looking for. I found something online that might work but it hasn't arrived yet. Since its not the exact harness I need I'll probably have to move the pins around...
Got the motor out so I can work on the harness a little easier. Attached is a picture with an arrow pointing to the thermal switch. Does anyone have a diagram showing where the thermal leads go? My...
Looks like this.
It has the ring with lots of ridges around the edge.
I have a scope but have not used it much. Hope I don't need it for this.

You are exactly correct. The spindle motor has no sensor mounted.
The red cap is dismounted. There is no sensor because the person who sold me the lathe took it off and used it on another lathe.
He...
No. It will power up but is stuck at a 408 error. The spindle control board shows alarm AL-01, spindle overheat. I'm guessing it's because the spindle speed sensor is missing and the connector also...
It looks like the previous owner took the speed sensor off the spindle on the lathe I bought from him.
I'm left with a brown plug that appears to go to the control cabinet wiring. I'm also left with...
Ok, got parameters, now I need something to identify alarms. I'm getting a 1005 emergency stop error.
Here is a full board picture. I can make some edits to show where I have taken some measurements and some assumptions.

You could be right. I'll scrape off the residue and see if any others are split like T8
