Thanks, I stumbled across that earlier... is there no way to just stop the chuck falling out without having to replace the entire spindle and control box? Surely it must be do-able. :L

Around summer-time this year, I bought a Tonsen 3040C H80 CNC router, and it worked well when I received it. However, now I am having the problem that the chuck falls out the spindle...
Bought another bit that is a straight flute designed for woods... and it's too big to fit the spindle xD I can't seem to find any with a smaller shank diameter than 6mm though, so it looks like NONE...
But I have managed to cut stuff in the past. I have cut out a 3D model of a watch in wood that is 18mm thick... and that was with a crappy cutting bit designed for the dremel!
This one: BRAND NEW CNC ROUTER ENGRAVER MACHINE PCB'S ROUTING DRILLING H80mm | eBay I am trying it at 20000 rpm though, surely that would be enough at 200mm/min?
It seems to make a groaning noise as if it's struggling (even with a really low feed rate and high spindle speed) and the spindle slows down until it just stops altogether (nearly braking the bit)....
