I hope they spend some of the money hiring a web designer. What a mess!
Try routing the spindle cable by itself, not bundled in close proximity to any control or stepper cables.
No need to apologize. That's what the zero before the decimal point is for. :D
Here's a DXF copy.
Will one of these work?

If you do this make sure the power is off before disconnecting anything or you'll toast your G540.
Here's more info on grounding and bonding:

Your main electrical service is grounded to a gas pipe? Last I heard, that wouldn't meet the national electrical code, not to mention it can't be real safe.
If you're thinking of using a water pipe and have a water meter make sure there's a good, heavy-duty connection around the meter. I've seen cases where the continuity is broken by the meter.
Oh...

And so the roller-coaster ride begins again. I'm looking forward to following you new project. I've learned a lot from you other builds.
Good points. I was thinking of the input, not the output side of the relay. Thanks for the tips from Crydom, too.
Don't worry about it. Solid state relays don't have a coil so there's no possibility of any inductive kick.
Try some other text for your test "Hi" is too symmetric. Use some letters that don't look the same left to right.
As with any finish, I'd try it on a piece of scrap first to check the color.
Love to see a video of it cutting. Must look like a huge mechanical spider crawling over the piece.
We had the same problem in our data center, except it was the door button right next to the unguarded kill switch. We fired the electrician that installed them so close together.
