Has anyone used a right angle head on a BTC. I have a job which could be done easily, if I could use a right angle head. Experience, ideas?
Thanks,
Chip
Hey Kevin,
My BTC is still making parts, sometimes 100s, sometimes 2 or 3. The few times I've had problems the great people in this group have helped me solve them.

Does any one have a source and part number for the seals (shaft and piston). Mine works ok, but the oil is bypassing the piston seal which makes the motion erratic at times.

Ok, OK, stop laughing! I figured it out: if you don't tell it how fast to feed it won't feed. Sure makes debugging faster. I'm learning!

I'm debugging a long program and would like to restart in the middle. I've tried setting the start line number per the programming manual, but even with the spindle turning, each time I reach the...

I checked the other program where I thought I used G75, I did not. I used G02 and G03.

After about a month of operation my repaired encoder coupling failed. I replaced it with McMaster-Carr part# 59925K92 and was back in business. Then my Y axis quit. I traced the problem to the...
Jim-
I had a similar problem when I first powered up my BTC. In my case it turned out to be loose connections on the display itself. When I opened the panel everything looked OK, after I...
Since the coupling broke at the point it mounts to the shaft collar, I thought I'd repair it if possible. The collars are soft soldered onto the bellows, so I cleaned up the end of the bellows, slid...

I went through the start up proceedure in the manual, which includes removing all the circuit boards, but I didn't make a diagram of where all the "K" connectors go. ...
Interesting conveter information. I'm building a 15hp rotary to power the BTC and other small three phase equipment in the shop. What size compressor (cfm) do you guys use or recommend?
Thanks for the info Kevin. I have the installation manual with the page you refered to in your message. I don't have a tooling manual, but none of the holders appear to be tap holders. I could use...
