Does anyone know how to go about getting my Milicron 850MC drip feed option turned on and what it costs? The awesome 46k of memory it has is just getting to hard to work with.
Thank You
Joe
Well I think its fixed. I marked and then messed with the adjustment pots to see what each did, nothing from the A-0F, B-0F or the Z-0, but the one with a CS on it seems to be what I needed it almost...
With the battery applied C1, C4, and C8 led's light so they are 1's but C2 doesn't light until I take the battery voltage away and turn the shaft like I said about 1.5 degree's. I talked to another...
Ok so I rotated it and noted the pattern and it is putting out the correct pattern, but when I apply the voltage to the servo in its held position C2 always requires me to let it go and turn it...
I made the 4 led tester just like you said, yes it makes it easy to see whats going on. Ok so I tried it at all 4 quarters and get the same output, I also left the encoder on, and what happens when I...
I finally had time to take the motor and hook it up on the bench to test the output of C1-8 I applied the voltage to the u and vw leads and the motor locked into a postition and I checked the c1-8...
The only problem I see with the procedure you have in the book they show the encoder being on a 3 bolt patter that has slotted holes for the adjustment, Mine has 4 with no slots, there is a tiny bit...
Here is a picture of the 4 pots, I'm making a coupler now to turn the motor with a dc motor I have to do the alignment like you said, got my 10k resistors and scope ready to go, just have to figure...
Al, I have for pots on my encoder board an A-0 B-0 C-0 and Z would u use them to tune each of the hall outputs then I'm assuming not sure what the Z is for.
Thanks,
Joe
Thanks for the speedy response Al. Yes it is a brushless. I have a double beam scope and I'm sure I can come up with a way to power the encoder I have a BK Precision 1635 variable power supply. I've...
I have a 1990 Sabre 1250 with an 850MC with an x-axis servo motor that I put new bearings in. I marked the coupler location for the encoder and put it back together successfully however since I've...
I to am interested in this procedure, the only way I have been using my machine is by setting a H postion up for each tool, rather than the tool offsets. Any more on this would be a great help.

Sorry this took a bit to get to here, was out of town. The tape is 1" wide, about .005" thick.

Yes they are punch tapes, 6 of them. They are for a Sabre 1250 mill with Acramatic 850MC control.

Hi, I've got the Comp table tapes for my machine but have no way to read them. I'm looking for someone who could read them and send them back to me in a file that I can load. I would be willing to...
Hi, can someone tell me where I would input the "Axis Gain Parameters" on an Acramatic 850 controller on a Sabre 1250?
Thanks, Joe
I know on mine it will only work with the machine set to 2400 8e1 and the pc set to 2400 7e1 , really makes no sense to me but I think I tried every different combo.
Joe
That works, now to try something more, but I guess my post in x3 needs some help since it didn't work without editing.
I will try here once will write back with results. My post was made with X3 Mastercam, I know the basics of the G03 with my 850 after reading about it but I have never done any arc's with it yet just...
When trying to run just a simple arc program like this I am getting an error msg 0006 End Point Off Circle, end point in circular interpolation off more than .0100 inch on line N06 any help would be...
Yeah I was a little hesitant about running a converter at first as well but its the only way with my location. I built my own with a 40hp motor and caps from a local electric motor shop. Then just a...
Well after doing a bunch of checking things I found that one of my run capacitors on my rotary phase converter was going out and causing some distortion on my 3rd leg of power. It was just enough to...
Hi I have a Sabre 1250 machine and when i start it up it goes through all of its self tests just fine, but then once its to the point where I can use the keys and screen I get an error 160 Z axis...
