finally have my build done ,and now to wire up the stepper motors . but i would like to have my pc station off to one side of the cnc .my question is how far can i run my wires from the stepper...

has anyone thought of tapping a acme screw at the opposite side of the motor end. using a bigger bearing for strenght and cutting a hole through the bearing block , so you can put a washer and a bolt...

just a thought but it would be nice if someone whos is naulagable.... didnt spell that right ,but anyway.lol. would come up with a chart on lets say acme rods max lenghts before the whip thing starts...

can you use a 1/2 '' 10turn acme thread on one axes and a 5/8''8turn on another axes on the same cnc. useing lets say mach 3 .

i also have acetal nuts , can you put some type of lub on the thread ,like oil .will it hurt the nuts

im having some problems with my acme screws being to long and getting some whipping as they turn. what i have now are 10 turn 1/2'' 60'' long for x and y .if i go to 5/8''acme 8 turn for more speed...

do you think adding a extra motor driver and power supply is cheaper than a pully set .if its less than 350.00 i think all go with the pully set not just for cost but also if something goes wrong it...

hi inventit. i like the way you set up your pully system . is there a reason you went with three belts instead of one with a tensioner .and does the size of the pullies make for more or less...
